Life is not about chances you get, but its abt the choices you make.
Not all choices are easy to make. Or atleast they are not as easy to the person who has to make those choices. Others might have altogether a different viewpoint, but since you are "into" that situation, it becomes very difficult for you to decide.
Pareto's principal can be very well applied here. 80% of choices are very easy to make. Only the 20% choices are the ones which are most difficult to make and take 80% of your energy, at times draining you mentally and psycologically. These 20% choices have to be made at different stages of your life. As a child life is much easier, since your parents make a lot of choices for you. As you grow older, life gets interesting in terms of making choices.
Be it the right job or be it the right life partner, all these choices can be horribly tricky for many people. Jobs are still easy since you can make a mistake and easily correct it if you dont like it. With marriage, you do not have any such luxury. Marriages should be forever !!
Once you are married and have kids, your fairshare of the "20% of tough choices" continues. You need to make all the tough decisions for your children. Choice about their school (starting from the correct daycare!!), their studies, activities and what not.
Looks like a lot .. Isnt it? But then what would life be without having to make choices? Life would suck if we did not have to make any choices ...
I guess, having to make choices in life is like "A good problem to have" ...
